• I love quiet spring mornings like these. I can hear but not see the world around me & my little apartment & I wonder what the day will hold. #
• Gr! Leaving the beautiful outdoors cuz coding w/out Internet is like diving w/out an O2 tank. I hate Australia’s stone age lack of WiFi. #
• I traded a nice day outside for a productive day indoors. In the future I won’t have to make such compromises. I’m very bad at compromising. #

• It’s the first weekend day of really nice weather. That means there are traffic jams to the beach and all the buses are full and late. #
• The beach is beautiful but crowed. We decide to brave the crowds anyway. I’m glad I brought my super-baggy swim suit to hide the #cb3k. #
• Lesson learned: hot day!=warm ocean. Sadly too cold for lengthy swim, but good (?) that no need to remove #cb3k on future beach trips. #
• In the shower I got a hellishly big hunk of shampoo in my eye then screamed OMIGOD OW FUCK OW OW OW for about 30 mins. Letting it tear now…. #
• Like a magician, @BloodyLaughter distracts me w/ release via a hand job & before long my eye feels a LOT better. This is so what sex is for. #

• Left the house w/out glasses on, went home, only to find them in my bag. Not the best start to my day so far, but I did wake up rested. #
• @grantyoung 3rd-ed. Twitter’s new design did well prioritizing their users’ needs & they describe good reasons for their choices. Twitter++! #
• @CurvaceousDee Aha. That makes a lot more sense now. I have pretty good time management skillz too, but there’s still only 24hrs in the day. #

• @BloodyLaughter locked me up in my #cb3k 4 days ago so it’s been ~7 since I’ve enjoyed any release yet tonight alone I’ve helped her to two. #
• @jakevance Disable JavaScript to prevent websites from doing things like removing toolbars, etc. It’s also more secure to browse without it. #

Tonight I wrote a quick (and idiotic) patch to the very simple WordPress Category Post plugin v2.0. This backwards-compatible patch features:

• parameter-based post limit to define how many posts the plugin function will print
• parameter-based format option to output the posts in real <li> elements

The wp-category-posts.php patch file is available for download here. To apply the patch, run the following commands at your shell promp:

cd path/to/wordpress/installation/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-category-posts
patch -p0 < path/to/downloaded/wp-category-posts.patch

I’m hoping this will get integrated as the next version of the plugin, perhaps version 2.1.
