About Me

Hi, I’m Meitar Moscovitz, though my friends calls me maymay (not-so-short story). I rather dislike writing much about myself, but I don’t like to see pages on the Web without much content, so I’ll give it a shot (and add or update what I write when appropriate).

I have rather an entrepeneurial spirit and I like computers a lot. Those two traits have evolved into my own business which offers a variety of services, such as web design and development. Since I spend quite a bit of time creating web sites and since I enjoy sharing what I know with others, I also offer anyone with an interest in the topic web design and development tutoring lessons (PDF) in 1-on-1 sessions or in small groups.

Even though I was less than a year old when I first touched a keyboard, creating stuff on computers started thanks to the fact that I was diagnosed as having bipolar disorder when I was twelve. My father suggested I make a web site about it and the rest is history. Nowadays, even though the Internet and web development are my primary skill sets, I dabble in as much geekdom as I can.

Whenever there’s downtime you’ll probably find me reading a book or blogging. I’m also a rather big poker enthusiast, so you can sometimes catch me playing online at PokerStars, UltimateBet, or some other online poker site. (Though who doesn’t prefer live games far more?) I also enjoy juggling, playing Squash, rollerblading, and speed-solving rubik’s cubes (my best time is approximately 45 seconds).

This blog is about all those things, and more.
