Name: Tesir (Correct pronunciation: "tee-seer," casual [common] pronunciation: "tes-eer")
- Nickname: Tes
- Last Name: Tesir does not have any last name. It has come to be that on Isnya only first names are given. To identify two people with the same name one refers to that person's parents, for example, "Adam, Son-of-John" is a different person than "Adam, Son-of-Joe." :)

Homeworld: Isnya (located in one of the star systems in that sparsely dotted area in between Tatooine and Da Shoocha on the UNIVERSE.BMP file which can be found at the Chu'unthor II AOL site)
- Environment: Hoth-like in climate, very cold, and mountainous. Not many species of animals live on the planet. Only one species is hunted, food is mostly imported from spaceports.
- Agriculture/Economy: A special kind of plant is grown on the mountainsides, Isnya's only natural grown food source. It is used to make a limited assortment of dishes, but is usually used in conjunction with imported foods from other worlds. It is grown in long fields between rock cliffs on the snowy mountains. The planet's two main exports are its minerals found deep within the planet's mountains, and its single species of plant life, used for food, to create perfumes, and even in some cases create fibers for use in clothing from the leaves.
- Civilization Structure: Isnya has been colonized by humans from nearby star systems for only a mere 300 years. Because of Isnya's lack of many essential natural resources, it receives everything that is not readily available through it's many small spaceports located at the edge of small cities, each capable of housing up to about 5,000 permanent residents. The majority of the planet's settlers are scattered across the various mountain ranges in tribes similar to those like Tatooine's Sand People except for the fact that they hardly travel. Because of the way this system has developed, the residents of Isnya jokingly call their tribes "huddles." A huddle can sometimes reach a population of 1,000 but rarely does it get higher than that.

Personality: Some people actually wonder if he's not a Human Replica Droid since he acts like one most of the time. When left undisturbed, as he prefers to be, he speaks with very little, if any, emotion and feeling at all. Although his movements are as fluid as anyone else's, the frequent lack of apparent expressions on his face hint at his robotic traits. He's probably the most logical, methodical, and computer-like human being anyone will ever meet. Because of these qualities he is very intelligent--even brilliant--in some areas such as technology, mathematics, and (not surprisingly enough) robotics. However, without actively being alone, he is used to isolating himself from people and frequently feels somewhat lonely. Although he does not seem depressed, and he never pushes anyone away from him, there always seems to be something missing from his personality--a human kind of bounce that just isn't there.

Physical Description: Not only does he act robotic most of the time, he also has metallic looking features: straight, slanted eyebrows, a straight-lined chin, long thin fingers, and deep-set icy blue eyes. His hair is a darker, dirtier blonde color with a small number of abnormal lighter and darker streaks, nearly matching the color of his light skin, which makes it obvious how he could be mistaken for a droid.

Personal Background: Tesir was born to Joren and Kimlya, parents of an already-7-year-old girl named Hylia. Tesir's father was a mechanic, repairing and sometimes upgrading all kinds of machinery. His mother, who also worked, was a seamstress. Not three years after his birth, Kimlya had another baby girl, who she named Ally. When Tesir was about four years old, his father and mother divorced and his father moved away to another huddle. It was a messy breakup, and took a heavy toll on Tesir. He became exceedingly close to his older sister, Hylia, and looked up to her as if she was a replacement parent. She was the one who helped him with his homework after school, took him to parks, and did other parental chores such as packing his lunch along with Ally's for school.
In school, Tesir was one of the brightest students, if not the brightest. He excelled in all his subjects, and was well-liked by all. At home, he loved toying around with any of his father's old spare parts from his workshop at home. Even at ages as young as 8 he displayed amazing talent in areas such as mechanics and robotics, mathematics, electronics, and computer technology.
Then one day when Tesir was beginning his teenage years tragedy struck home. It happened on a cloudy day in the middle of the harvesting season. Hylia, the closest person in Tesir's life at the time, went to his family's field to gather some of the precious plant crops. But as she was harvesting the plant, a relatively small, but extremely quick flash-alanche (the nickname given to lightning quick, small avalanches) rumbled down the mountainside, swishing over the harvesting fields. It picked Hylia up and tumbled her down with it, until it smashed her against one of the rock cliffs...killing her instantly.
Back at his house, Tes was playing a game with his younger sister, Ally. When the flash-alanche started, Tes felt something gnawing at the back of his mind. One of those, "something's not right" feelings. But at first he thought nothing of it.
But then, within that hour, the entire huddle had heard of the avalanche, and of Hylia's death. Tes was devastated. From that day onward, everything changed. He was transformed from the usually perky, outgoing and well-liked person that everyone knew and was familiar with, to a closed, quiet, sad and depressed person that no one could seem to reach. To everyone else, he seemed to just shutdown, like the way you'd turn off a computer. He started eating less and less, until he almost ate nothing at all. He stopped talking to his friends. His eyes grew distant, and unfocused. It was as if part of him had died.
Tesir no longer did anything actively, or on his own initiative except sleep, and tinker with the spare mechanical parts in his father's former workshop. His grades at school slipped too. Teachers were beginning to worry about their formerly ideal, straight-A student. And in particular, his history teacher was. Tesir's friends, bewildered and confused, tried talking to him but it was no good. Although he never rejected their company (except when he wanted to fiddle around in the workshop), he seemed oddly not receptive to them. And nothing could get him to smile again.
But it was a different story with his family. He was receptive to them...in a new way. He fought with Ally at every chance he got, about anything he could get upset about. But only when he was alone with her and his mother. He fought with his mother too, on a daily schedule. And no one, not even Tesir himself could understand why.
Meanwhile back at school, his history teacher, a Wookie, somehow managed to reach the troubled youth, and became his closest friend, and in some ways even therapist in surprisingly little time. The Wookie was previously involved with Empire-resistant groups 50 and 60 years ago, and thus had some formidable knowledge about the Rebel Alliance, the Jedi and the Force, and that time in general. As he talked to Tesir more about Hylia's death, and as Tesir revealed more and more about his feelings on that day, the Wookie teacher began to suspect that Tesir might be Force sensitive, at least a little bit. It may have even been a Force-sensitive hunch on the teacher's part!
Finally, after some disturbingly depressing years, Tesir's Force sensitivity was proven. He was fighting with Ally, having a usual little bat about this thing or that, when he became so enraged that a picture of Ally, Hylia, his mother, his father, and himself flew from a shelf on the wall of the room and hit Ally square in the middle of her forehead. Ally dropped to the ground, crying and bleeding slightly, and Tesir backed into a corner of the room, suddenly scared of his own anger. Ally told their mother of the incident, and both she and Tesir confided in Tesir's old History teacher. It was quite obvious that Tesir could no longer remain on the isolated world of Isnya and in fact, he didn't want to. He was 18 years old by then and the fights lessened dramatically after that incident. His old History teacher also was trying to contact a Jedi Ambassador, to see if he could get Tesir into a training program.
It took quite a while, but a little bit before he turned 19 years old, he was accepted on to the Chu'unthor II, a starship built for the sole purpose of training Force-adept beings to become Jedi Knights.
